Lasten opetus keväällä 2014/ Children's teaching Spring 2014

Keväällä 2014 kokeilemme kerhotoimintaa tähänastisen koulutoiminnan sijaan. Tapaamme kerran kuussa, vuorotellen joko retkikohteessa tai opettajien kotona pienissä ryhmissä. 

• Ryhmät tapaavat erikseen, eri päivinä, jotta perheet joissa on seka pieniä etta isoja lapsia pääsevät tarvittaessa mukaan molempiin.
• Pienten ryhmän toiminnan järjestää Riikka ja Katja, laululeikkien ja kuvakirjojen/tarinoiden merkeissä.
• Isojen ryhmän toiminan järjestää Mirjam, ja ryhmä opettelee lukemisen alkeita. Isojen ryhmä on tarkoitettu n. 7-vuotiaille ja sitä vanhemmille lapsille jotka osaavat jo lukea sujuvasti englanniksi. Ryhmän toiminta voi myos sisältää esim. pelejä ja leikkejä.

During Spring 2014, instead of the usual school lessons, we will try club-style meetings instead: we will meet monthly, at external venues suitable for play or in smaller groups at the teachers’ homes. There will be two groups meeting at teachers’ homes: young kids’ group and older kids’ group.

• The groups meet separately, on different days, so that families with both young and older children are able to attend both groups if relevant.
• The young kids’ group is organised by Riikka and Katja, and involves songs, games, picture books and stories.
• The older kids’ group is organised by Mirjam, and involves beginning to learn to read Finnish. The older kids’ group is aimed at children approximately 7 years of age or older who are already confident in reading English. The lessons for this group may also involve games and other activities.

• Lauantai/Saturday 15.2 @ 14.00: Younger kids’ group at Riikka’s home / Pienten ryhmä Riikan kotona.

• Lauantai/Saturday 5.4. @ 14.00: Older kids’ group at Krisse’s home / Isojen ryhmä Krissen kotona.
• Lauantai/Saturday 26.4. @ 14.00: Younger kids’ group at Katja’s home / Pienten ryhmä Katjan kotona.
• Lauantai/Saturday 17.5. @ 10.00 uusi aika / changed date 24.5 @ 11.00: Finlaystone Country Park. Lisätietoja
